The Union Rescue Mission’s new Angel’s House Family Center had its grand opening and ribbon cutting on March 16, 2022. The Non-profit organization has been around since 1891 and its mission is to provide help and hope to those who are struggling with homelessness and poverty in Los Angeles. The center offers a safe place to stay, food, clothing, and other services to help people get back on their feet. The new Family Center will provide even more resources and support to families in need. It will offer a variety of programs and services that will help families get back on track and achieve their goals. The Union Rescue Mission is committed to helping families in need, and the new Family Community Center will be a huge asset in accomplishing that goal.

“Angel’s House Family Center strives to help those in need and treats everyone with respect regardless of their circumstances. The goal is to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the people we serve. We offer a variety of services such as food and clothing assistance, financial counseling, job training, and addiction recovery programs. We believe that everyone has value and worth and deserves to be treated with dignity and compassion. Christ’s love compels us to action, and we are committed to making a difference in the lives of others.” declared, Angel’s House Family Center’s main coordinator.

Helena Solomaho and Eugene Solonin have been invited to the grand opening representing Constellation of Humanity Inc. Volunteering has always been a big part of Helena and Eugene’s lives. They both strongly believe in giving back to the community and have been involved in many different charitable organizations over the years. However, they have never felt more rewarded than when they are able to see the direct results of their efforts. This event gave them the opportunity to meet the kids and families who benefit from the center, as well as see firsthand the impact that their hard work has made. They are truly grateful for the invitation to be a part of this special day.

The past 2 years have been tough for everyone. Non-profits have seen their donations dry up, and many people have been forced to cut back on their volunteering. But during the grand opening, donors showed their generous spirit by raising almost 3 million dollars. The money will go to support the many important programs that the non-profit provides, including education, health care, and hunger relief. So even though times are tough, it’s heartening to know that people are still willing to help those in need. Thanks to the generosity of donors, countless lives will be improved.

Angel’s House Family Center is a special place where mothers and children can get off the streets and enjoy one-on-one interaction or find a quiet space where a tired toddler can nap or a mother can rock a baby to sleep. The center provides books, games, toys, puzzles, and crafts.

Knowing that there are multiple charity organizations like Constellation of Humanity Inc. and other groups ready to support such initiatives brings hope and peace of mind to all those in need, making this world a better place.
